  3. Your home from home for your visit will be Gretna Hall Hotel. Originally built in 1710 as a manor house, the hotel, set in 10 acres of grounds is the perfect base. Ideally situated, being only one mile from the M6/M74 motorway and easy access to three major airports (Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle), bus routes and train station .

  4. Saturday 5th August Visit to Dumfries and Lockerbie Show Dumfries and Lockerbie show is one of the largest show in the county, the show boasts a wide variety of cattle, sheep and horses with various attractions for all the family. Both the Belted and Galloway Societies will host their National Shows at the show.

  5. The rest of your visit Sunday 6th will see the official business of the Congress and a chance to visit and shop in the historic town of Gretna. The following days will consist of farm tours and places of interest
