  3. Was always a writer? Arturo Perez Reverte (Cartagena, Spain, in November, 1951) devotes himself in sole right to the literature, after living 21 years (1973-1994) as journalist of press, radio and television, covering informatively the international conflicts in this period

  4. The beginning of Arturo • . He was employed twelve years as journalist at the diary “PUEBLO”and nine at the informative services of Spanish Television (TVE), as specialist at armed conflicts. The Captain Alatriste • In 1996 he initiated a series of statements led by the personage who gives title to the first delivery, The captain Alatriste, and in those that the Spain of the Austrias recreates.
