Network infrastructure • A Network infrastructure is an interconnected group of computer systems linked by the various parts of telecommunications architecture. • This infrastructure refers to the organizations of its various parts and their configuration – From individual network computers to routers, cables, wireless access points, switched, backbones, network protocols and network access methodologies.

  3. Network Management System • Network Management System refers to a utility or set of utilities designed to allow a network administrator to monitor and ensure the health of a network. • A Network Management System will typically monitor both hardware and software components of a network. • NMS utilities typically record data from remote points on a network for central reporting to an administrator.

  4. Network Monitor Software • There are several kinds of network monitoring softwares as they use TCP ports to monitor and report on network activities and for the systems to become available. -For instance there are: Sentry Network Monitor and ActiveXperts. -60 different checks are established from the software.

Network Monitor Software 2 • The software is conducted by database checks on available disk space, random access memory and Central Processing Unit (CPU) usages are effective to make sure your computer networks are working accurately. • Short Message Service (SMS) and email are types to get to you directly when there’s a problem that the software generates and sends to you. • Humidity and power levels of your network computers, extended software applications to monitor the temperature can be bought from purchasers.
