  3. Eddie • Eddie graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School in June 2010. • Eddie had a full scholarship to play lacrosse at Marist College in Poughkeepsie New York. • He had an outstanding freshman year and was very excited to head back to school in August 2011.

  4. Play Fast, live slow • Eddie and some friends were celebrating the end of summer and were drinking at a party. A friend, Connor McNicholas was headed home and decided to drive Eddie and three other guys. On August 6, 2011 Eddie and another friend Robert Nagel were killed after the car they were driving in traveled off the roadway and struck a curb before careening 405 feet into the back yard of a residence near Norristown Road. The accident occurred at about 1:15 a.m. The car was travelling at about 100 miles per hour at the time of the crash.

Play Fast, live slow • Eddie died because he decided to get in a car with someone who had been drinking. • Conner, the driver, survived the crash but he wassentenced to 4 to 8 years in prison in June 2012 after pleading guilty to seven charges, including two counts of vehicular homicide. He will have to live the rest of his life with the fact that he is responsible for killing two of his friends. • Two lives cut short, one life changed forever because of a jail sentence…was it worth it?
