FACTS - • UCL Staff Accommodation Service based in Human Resources • Priority focus on new staff relocating and academic visitors • Some changes – a new website planned • Working with staff seeking accommodation and property owners wishing to let. • Current information found on www.ucl.ac.uk/hr/docs/accom_service.php

What we do….. • Offer rooms in houses or flats through property owners who contact us • Offer studio flats, as well as a range of properties in London or within commuting distance • Send staff seeking accommodation ( & owners)a simple form to complete • Match staff with appropriate accommodation • Provide relevant information • Suggest options for short term accommodation needs

  4. What we don’t do… • Manage any property – introductions only • Assist with property exchanges • Intervene should problems arise – • Visit or check the property –

  5. What can you do? • Ensure new staff know there is a Staff Accommodation Service at UCL and invite them to make contact as early as possible • We also welcome new properties - rooms, flats, houses • Have you any ideas or comments on this service ?
