  1. LORTAB Combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone

  2. Lortab is a pain killer used to treat moderate to severe pains. These tablets contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. Hydrocodoneis the opioid pain reliever while Acetaminophen enhances the effects of hydrocodone.

  3. Dosage • For adults, • the recommended dosage of Lortab is one to two tablets (2.5/500 or 5/500) every four to six hours as needed. With 7.5/500 or 10/500 tablets, the recommended dose is one tablet every four to six hours. For the elixir, the usual recommended dosage is one tablespoonful every four to six hours. • Dosing for children • is determined by the child's age and weight • But it is highly recommended to take its dosage according to doctor’s prescription.
