Trade and Transport Facilitation in South East Europe - TTFSE • In 2002, all the pilot sites (PS’s) weredesignated: • 4 border crossing points (BCP’s) and 1 inland terminal • In 2003, pilot teams (PT’s) were set up at all the PS’s • The PT members are representatives of: • - customs,- border police, - veterinary inspection agency, and - phytosanitary inspection agency

LAUFZETTEL • The projectwasimplemented in cooperationwith the Customs Administration of the FYROM • Project carried out in October2006 • Time measurementperformed for 7 days • The projectimplementation team was made up of staff from the General Directorates of Customs of Serbia and the FYROM • 2 indicators (average entry time and average exit time)

  18. IMPACTS 1. Close cooperationbetween the border agencies at the local level, particularlythanks to the local pilot teams set up in Serbia, and close cooperationwith the Customs administration of the FYROM. Customs has taken over the control of radiation measurement at the border from the Environmental Inspection Agency. The veterinary and phytosanitary inspection agencies have taken over the control of animals and rare plants from the Environmental Inspection Agency.
