  2. M.R. Conic Foundation Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A. “A New Beginning – An Independent Living Community” Our Heritage Approximately 50 years ago, the Women’s Ministry of COCHUSA had a vision to build a “Home For The Aged”. Who knew that they were forecasting the market trends for the new millennium. Extended life expectancy has greatly increased the demand for long term health care services. In 2000, about one in eight Americans were 65 or older; by 2030, it is estimated that approximately one in five will be age 65 or older (if the Lord should tarry). That’s 20% of the total population!
