  2. 1 Tim. 4:12b- Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. Vs. 15- Give your complete attention to these matters. The faith of David- Inner Man Jesus satisfies me. Logically. Emotionally. Spiritually. I’ve never found a better belief system; I’ve never found a better friend.

He schemes to be with her. 2 Sam. 13:5-7 Amnon fakes sickness and requests Tamar come and serve him, nurse him. David sends Tamar to help. She happily serves her brother 2 Sam. 13:8-11 Amnon sets it up to be alone with her and tries to force sex on her… she resists.

  5. Parenting 101= “Parenting 1 on 1” UNLEARNING= uninvolved 2 Sam. 13:12-15 But Amnon wouldn’t listen to her, and since he was stronger than she was, he raped her. Then suddenly Amnon’s love turned to hate, and he hated her even more than he had loved her. "Get out of here!" he snarled at her.

But Amnon wouldn’t listen to her. He shouted for his servant and demanded, "Throw this woman out, and lock the door behind her!" So the servant put her out. She was wearing a long, beautiful robe, as was the custom in those days for the king’s virgin daughters. But now Tamar tore her robe and put ashes on her head. And then, with her face in her hands, she went away crying.

Since he’s your brother anyway, don’t worry about it." So Tamar lived as a desolate woman in Absalom’s house. When King David heard what had happened, he was very angry. And though Absalom never spoke to Amnon about it, he hated Amnon deeply because of what he had done to his sister.
