PMMAI Action Plan for FY 2017-18 • Working with Bureau of Indian Standards & DHI to develop standards for Plastics Processing Machineries. • Continuously working for Brand India Image for PPM sector. • To develop export potential for small & medium enterprises. • Common purchase of components and materials to provide level playing field for industry. Thus saving on Procurement Cost of PMMAI members. • Organize INDIAPLAST 2018 exhibition from 26-28 October, 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Which will be one of the best plastics shows in the country by 2025. ….together we can and we will grow! 5

Action Plan (Continued) • Hold Joint Seminars for the benefit of member companies to share information on best practices adopted for improving quality, productivity & other important aspects.   • Trade Show delegation & study tours • Organize Road shows - B2B Meetings at select high growth areas. • PMMAI will promote it’s independent identity, keeping in minds its position vis-à-vis Government ministries. • Regular representations to parent Ministry and interaction with Government Ministries and agencies. Industry Members are welcome to provide their suggestions 6

Major activities undertaken for benefits of the members • Collective participation in industry exhibitions like Plexpo, Plastasia for better rates & facilities. • Strategic Information Exchange of Industry & Market. • Import & Export data for Plastics Machinery. • Plant Visits and sharing of best practices among members. • Common purchase for cost saving & level playing field for industry. • Plastics Today : News magazine with industry news, events, snapshots. • Subsidy to MSME members for participation in exhibitions & overseas delegations. • Linkage for all PMMAI members to PMMAI website.
