About Tara Innovations • Tara Innovations LLC is a pharmaceutical CRO, strategy consultant, drug development service provider, and regulatory affairs documentation expert. • Our strength lies in our capability to solve difficult technical and strategic problems. • We specialize in characterization of small and large molecules, i.e., preformulation activities, development of analytical methods and development of formulations/processes for various types of products. Mission Statement: Develop products and delivery systems in innovative ways using science and technology in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical fields.   5. UV Spectrophotometer, Centrifuge, Homogenizer, High speed mixer, Vortex machine, Ultrasonic bath Used homogenizer to make gels, suspension and emulsions. Our Eppendorf centrifuge can maintain low temperatures needed for protein samples.

  6. Filtration Assembly in a fume hood. We use deionized water filtered through 0.45 µm filters for all formulation and analytical work. • For injectable formulations, we use Sterile water from Hospira. • Weighing Balance and magnetic stir plates are lab essentials. • Yellow light can also be used in instances where the drug is light-sensitive.

Previous Tara Projects Include: • Injectable oil-based formulation in prefilled syringes • Injectable aqueous-based formulation in prefilled syringes • Nanoemulsion formulation of an oil which has density twice that of water • Analytical method development for many small molecules • Ion-exchange, hydrophobic interaction and SEC assay development for an antibody • Particle size distribution characterization for an injectable suspension and an oral OTC product • Using technology consultancy, completed the development of several injectable products with CROs/CMOs.
