  1. A Conversation with a consultant David Miehls is the Principal Consultant with ADA Consultants of Indiana. He has experience working with communities who are working to improve their Title VI and ADA Compliance programs.

  2. ABOUT YOU: Tell me a little bit about yourself, your qualifications and work experience that supports your work with ADA and Title VI programs.

  3. ABOUT YOUR WORK: Tell me a little bit about ADA consultants of Indiana.  In general – what type of work do you do and what services do you provide Indiana communities?

  4. ABOUT YOUR Title 6 WORK: So obviously, the “ADA” is big part of what you do, but this is the “Title VI” day of our summit.  How have you been involved in assisting communities with Title VI?

  5. Title VI Resources: Title VI program monitoring practices for cities and town have been evolving across the nation and specifically in Indiana since 2014.  What resources do you recommend cities and towns turn to, to make improvements to their Title VI program compliance?

  6. Where should they start?: Where would you recommend a community start when looking at their operations for discrimination risks?  What are some key areas of municipal operations that, in your experience, are ripe for review?
