Repentance and Penance March 2014 In the bible God calls men (sinners) to repent of their unrighteousness (sin.)  Salvation is by believing the Gospel, accepting the free gift of the Lamb's righteousness because we have none to offer.  We are saved by Grace through faith, not of works.  Man cannot work righteousness which is what Babylon teaches.  The holy Ghost is sent to those who believe the incorruptible Word of God. Repentance is turning to God and trusting by faith in His righteousness because we have acknowledged our sin problem.We cannot stop sinning in the flesh ever which is why we need the Lamb's righteousness.
