[School/Group Name] to Perform Dance Mob to Celebrate National Dance Week According to [Studio Owner or Event Organizer], “[quote about experience i.e. fun learning and performing discussing event and the importance of reaching out to the community].” [Spokesperson] added that [he/she] is proud to be a representative for National Dance Week Foundation, the non-profit organization founded in 1981 consisting of dance luminaries and organizations created to gain greater recognition for dance as an art form. “We appreciate that [ school/organization name] put so much time and effort organizing their dance mob and contest video,” beams Cathy Graziano Executive of National Dance Week. “It is so much in the spirit of what we are trying to accomplish during dance week as we work to bring dancers together within the community to promote all forms of dance and the fun of getting your body moving.” The Dance Mob and contest was just one of several nation-wide National Dance Week activities that took place from April 25th through May 4th as part of the goal to bring greater awareness of dance and to encourage people of all ages to get active and live a less sedentary lifestyle. “It is so important in today’s society for people- especially children- to shut off their computers, TVs and phones and get more exercise,” concludes Cathy. “Dance is a fun way to start and (Group Name) is helping lead the way. We are ecstatic with their efforts and performance and are impressed with what they did to help make this year’s National Dance Week such a success.” For more information, please contact [ school information] And to watch the performance, visit nationaldanceweek.org
