About the CFEF and LEF Boards • The CFEF represents 61 local education foundations aligned with Florida’s county-wide school districts • 1,100 Board Members • 100% operate with committee structure • 80% of Board Members are from private-sector • 73% of board members participate in fundraising efforts • 30% have Governance Committee • 22% perform annual self-evaluation • 25% are completely volunteer-driven
