NDR9 SEPTEMBER 2009 Perupetro NDC • The National Data Center is a functional unit reporting to the Exploration Management area within Perupetro. • Perupetro NDC aims to manage and provide quality-assured information to promote investment for the oil industry in Peru through an expanded set of services. • NDC services have been outsourced to a contractor since 1996.

NDR9 SEPTEMBER 2009 Charging • Perupetro NDC target is entirely for promotional purposes (no profit making ) • All information delivered to customers is free of charge • A small fee to be paid for media (DLT, CD, DVD, Hard Disks) Problems • Time to deliver data to customers • Due to large amounts of data requested by customers, because of time constraints, arrangements to offer bit-to-bit copies are to be made.
