  3. Greenland’s Food • Traditional food is a soup called Suasaat: potatoes, onions, rice, salt, and pepper. May contain fish, bird, seal, and whale. • The meat they eat is muskox, reindeer, whales, seals, fowls and fish • They drink coffee and water

  4. Greenland’s Climate • Warmest temperature is 78.6° • The southern coast ranges from 18° in January to 50° in July • In the inland it’s -53° in February • There is not a lot of rain. More rain is in the south than in the north

  5. Greenland’s Traditions • They have two New Year's: a Danish New Year at 8:00 and a Greenlandic New Year at midnight • On traditions, girls wear a silk dress with glass beads on it. Men wear Holmensklaede (Island cloth) • Lights are brightened on the first day of Advent. They put up red and orange Christmas stars and don’t take them down till January 6th
