History of the Department • Year of Establishment : 2003 • Initial Allotment of seats : 60 • To cater to the needs of Corporate, the strength has been increased to 120 from the year 2009 • With the establishment of Krishna University, Machilipatnam in 2008, KBN College PG Centre has been affiliated to Krishna University from the year 2009-10. • Since its inception the department has Competent, Qualified and Experienced faculty. • The Management Program of the college has emerged as the flag ship programme in a very limited period.

Highlights of the Department • 48 International/National Journals on management are available to the students. • Conducting industrial visits to the students of both first and final year. • A prestigious annual event “Management Aptitude & Skills Test” (MAST) • Inviting the Eminent Academicians and renowned industrialists to deliver the guest lectures on current issues in Business . • Conducting sessions on personality development and business etiquette by the experts in the concerned field • Conducting co-curricular and extracurricular activities and encouraging students to participate in Inter–collegiate and Inter-University competitions. • Business Lab Sessions.

Course Structure & Assesment • Two Year Four Semester Programme with dual specialization with Finance and HR specialization and Marketing as core. • 8 Papers in each semester. • Summer project for 6 weeks at the end of 2nd semester. • Study tours. • Comprehensive Viva. • 30% Internal Assessment. 70% Semester end external examination. • Out of 30 marks: 20 marks mid semtests.One mid sem test is on line, 5 marks for attendance, 5 marks for classroom performance.
