Genesis 1. In the beginning. God created. the heavens. and the earth. And God said, “Let there be light”. God called the light “day”. and the darkness he called “night”. God called the expanse “sky”. God called the dry ground “land”. and the gathered waters he called “seas”.

  2. God created the heavens

  3. and the earth

  4. And God said, “Let there be light”

  5. God called the light “day” and the darkness he called “night”

  6. God called the expanse “sky”

  7. God called the dry ground “land”

  8. and the gathered waters he called “seas”

  9. God said, “Let the land produce vegetation ...

  10. seed-bearing plants

  11. trees that bear fruit

  12. God made two great lights

  13. the greater light to govern the day

  14. the lesser light to govern the night

  15. And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures”

  16. let birds fly above the earth

  17. So God created the great creatures of the sea

  18. and every living and moving thing with which the water teems

  19. and every winged bird

  20. And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures ...

  21. livestock

  22. wild animals

  23. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image”

  24. God saw all that he had made and it was very good.

  28. Be careful to follow all the commands of the LORD your God, that you may possess this good land and pass it on as an inheritance to your descendants forever. 1Chron 28:8
