Describe the Sea Scout work and dress uniforms. Tell how and when the uniforms are worn and explain care of uniforms.

  7. Where to Buy • Dickies – 21st Century uniform, work uniforms • Wal-Mart – Buy Dickies • Ship's Store – on-line, youth blues / whites • US Navy Exchange – on-line / phone, youth and adult blues, whites, khakis • Insignia – Scout Shop and Ship's Store

  8. 21st Century Uniform • One uniform, youth / adults, summer / winter, dress / work • Similar to other BSA uniforms

  9. Youth Dress White • Navy “Cracker Jack” uniform • White insignia per Sea Scout Manual

  10. Youth Dress Blue • Male and female blue youth uniforms

  11. Youth Work Uniforms • Chambray shirt, Dickies pants • Less insignia

  12. Adult Dress White • Navy white uniform • Same for men and women

  13. Adult Dress Blue • Naval officer's blue coat and pants • Skirt optional for women (women same as youth)

  14. Adult Work Khaki • Same for men and women • Available at Dickies / Wal-Mart / US Navy • Insignia worn like BSA

  17. Wear and Care • Which uniforms to wear where? • Care of uniforms • Blue wool need dry cleaning • Others can be washed and hung up • Whites can be folded IAW Sea Scout Manual
