  1. Line • Lines are one of the most basic elements in image design and their uses are many from functional to artistic. The pictures represent lines because they show the simplicity in the lines.

  2. Leading lines • Leading lines show that the way is long, and you have a lot ahead of you. This picture describes leading lines because it shows that the road ends on the other way.

  3. Angles • Angles are formed by two rays sharing a common endpoint or two lines that intersect.

  4. Shapes • A shape is an enclosed space, the boundaries of which are defined by other elements of art (i.e.: lines, colors, values, textures, etc.).

  5. Framing • Framing is a technique used to focus the viewer's attention upon the subject, adddepth to an image, and actually frame a picture.

  6. Triangulated composition • A triangulated composition is an image where objects form triangular shapes.
