  2. MountainHeart Community Services is funded under an agreement with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources Office of Social Services. This Resource & Referral agency was established in 1992.

  3. TRAILS TRAVELING RESOURCE AND INFORMATION LIBRARY SERVICE Established 2001

  4. TRAILS Mobile outreach program to benefit child care providers, (families, facilities, centers,) and also Pre-K collaborations which includes Preschools and Head Starts.

LENDING AGREEMENT I WILL • Inspect and maintain all items • Use resources with children in child care • Disinfect resources before and after play • Stop using item if unsafe • Be responsible for any damage (other than normal wear and tear) to item • Agree to pay for items broken or damaged because of negligence

  8. CLEAN & DISINFECT • Wash toys and resources with soapy water, rinse thoroughly to clean TRAILS items: • To Disinfect items--- ¼ Cup of Bleach - 1 Gallon of Water OR 3 Tablespoons Bleach - I Quart of Water

  9. WHY SHOULD YOU USE THE TRAILS PROGRAM 1.TRY NEW RESOURCES BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THEM 2. INCORPORATE NEW ACTIVITIES INTO YOUR PROGRAM, AT NO COST 3. RESOURCES FOR CHILDREN TO INTERACT WITH WHILE LEARNING NEW SKILLS 4. ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS THAT YOU MAY NOT KNOW OR HAVE TIME TO RESEARCH
