OUR VISION is that all those who have more than they need, share with those who lack even the most basic things, and that every child receives one daily meal in their place of education.
Mary’s Meals: Some Key Facts • MMs began in Malawi in 2002 feeding just over 200 • We now feed over 557,000 daily in 16 countries • MMs is an non denominational organisation feeding children of all faiths and none. We receive support from people of all faiths and none. • We are committed to spending at least 93% of donations on our charitable works • The average cost to feed a child for a year is £9.40 In Malawi it only costs us £6.15 to feed a child for a year. Approx 3p/day • Our Headquarters are still in Dalmally, Scotland
HOW? Simply come along to the school canteen and enjoy a meal with your friends. 29
For each school meal bought we will award points. Points which will be converted into to Mary’s Meals to feed the children of Mbinda and Katunda Primary Schools in Malawi. 30
