Incident Handling • Rolling Stock plus any other Inventory items can be managed • Open a ‘Ticket’ for each item to be repaired/replaced • Add an update action on any ticket at any time • Ticket system logs step by step resolutions • Archive your completed maintenance actions for trends or other analyses

  4. Bad Order Handling • Declare Bad Order • Manage Bad Order

  5. Declare Bad Order • Bad Orders occur for Rolling Stock in the middle of an Operating Session or anytime • Three levels of failure degree are supported: major, moderate, minor • Four repair classes: • RIP on mainline • RIP on nearby siding • Repair in nearest yard • Repair off the layout

Declare Bad Order (continued) • Five Load Transfer Rules • Do not transfer load • Transfer onthemainline • Transfer on nearest siding • Transfer in nearby yard • Not applicable • Location where replacement is made • Do not replace BO RS • Replace BO on mainline • Replace BO on nearby siding • Replace BO in nearby yard

  7. Manage Bad Orders • Create Maintenance Incident Ticket • If BO during operating session • Create waybills to move Rollling Stock as needed • Create Extra Train(s) to handle BO waybills

  8. Preventative Maintenance • Each piece of rolling stock is managed • Each rolling stock unit usage on an operating train is recorded • Number of days since last maintenance of each unit is recorded • You set preventative maintenance triggers for time between servicing and/or usages between servicing • PM status of each unit is readily presented

Data Maintenance Features • Export/Import data: MS Excel, Text, other formats. • Custom queries with sorting and filtering • Extensive drop-down data lists simplify entry and avoid typing errors. • Tens of useful reports; print and file options Output in Excel 5, HTML, or text format. • Input data to your Palm or other PDA. • Create Web Pages of Inventory items and various documents and reports
