This orientation is meant to introduce you to our campus, provide you with valuable resources, and help supply information about critical policies and benefits offered to University of North Dakota (UND) employees.   13. Conflict Management Services (CMS) The CMS provides confidential early-stage, informal dispute resolution services for UND faculty, staff and students. The CMS receives informal complaints, concerns, or questions about alleged acts, omissions, improprieties, and/or broader systemic problems. The CMS helps individuals by: • Listening to and clarifying issues and concerns • Making informal inquiries and otherwise reviewing matters received • Exploring options and resources, including referrals to other campus resources • Providing consultation, individual coaching, and mediating disputes Services of the Office supplement, but do not replace, other processes (formal or informal) available to the University community.   15. Employee Self Service Log in to the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) using your system-issued User ID and Password. These are case sensitive. If you have a problem with your User ID and/or password, please call the NDUS help desk. 701-777-6305 and press #0. Self Service gives all employees a chance to see basic salary, pay advice (stub), and benefits information from anywhere they have access to an internet.

Employee Self Service-(con’t) To View and/or Print Your Paycheck • Log in to HRMS • Go to Main Menu • Select Self Service • Go to Payroll and Compensation • Click View Paycheck • Find the date in the left column that corresponds with the paycheck you wish to view. Click the View Paycheck link to open the paystub.Tip: In order to view the PDF file, you mayneed to disable your browser’s popup blocker. • Optional: If desired, use the print icon in the top right corner to print the paycheck. To View and/or Print Your W-2 • Log in to HRMS • Go to Main Menu • Select Self Service  • Go to Payroll and Compensation • Next choose View W-2/W-2C Forms • Find the date in the left column that corresponds with the W-2 you wish to view. Click the Year End Form link to open the W-2.Tip: In order to view the PDF file, you may need to disable your browser’s popup blocker. • Optional: If desired, use the print icon in the top right corner to print the paycheck.

  19. How to report time worked via web clock (hourly employees)? • Navigate to:Self Service > Time Reporting > Report Time > Web Clock

  21. Web clock continued… • The web clock can also be found on the home page. The hourly employee can choose to either navigate to the web clock or use the web clock right on the home page. Either will record the hours to the timesheet. Below is a screenshot of the web clock on the home page.

  22. How do employees view time reported through a timesheet (hourly employees)? • Navigate to:SelfService > Time Reporting > Report Time > Timesheet

Hourly Timesheet continued… • The timesheet enables hourly employees to do the following: • Review hours worked for current, previous and next period • Any missing punches or changes to the employee timesheet need to be communicated to the supervisor. Hourly employees cannot update or make changes to their timesheet.

Fraud Policy & Hotline • Policy StatementAll University of North Dakota (UND) employees assume responsibility for safeguarding and preserving the assets and resources of the state and university system. Benefited employees are required to complete annual fraud awareness training. This training must be documented by the institution. Mandatory Training SafeColleges As employees of a public institution of higher education, we are each responsible to complete various safety training programs, as well as designated federally-mandated training. You will receive an email within a week of your start date from: University of North Dakota Administrator @safecolleges.com This email will provide a list of the trainings you will need to complete and the link to the SafeColleges website.
