A lot of people visit this South American country to get a taste of authentic Peruvian cuisine. Peru’s food is all about spices and strong flavors. Some are light and crisp while others are heavy. There are restaurants where you can find Peru’s top traditional dishes. Mealtimes in Peru Traditionally, three mealtimes exist here. These are breakfast or Desayuno, lunch or almuerzo and dinner or cena. Breakfast is usually a simple affair normally served between 7 to 9 o’clock in the morning. Lunch is substantial and is the main meal of the day consisting of starters and main course followed by desert.
