  2. Course Objective • To relate the concepts of chemistry in all engineering discipline. • To acquaint students with modern techniques in Engineering Chemistry this can be applied in engineering field. • To identify, formulate and solve engineering problems. 31/03/2018

Course outline At the end of course, the students will be able to • Study phase rule, water parameters& conductivity laws. • State types of fuels, lubricants, ceramics and polymer. • Identify boiler troubles, corrosion problems and describe the properties of fuels, lubricants, ceramics and polymer. • Analyze solid fuels and water quality parameter. • Operate various batteries & solve problems related to water parameter. • Select preventive measure for corrosion & use of various alloys in metallurgical operation. 31/03/2018

  4. Assessment Strategy • Class test (Internal Assessment): 20 • End Semester Examination: 80 Total - 100 • Term work : 50 Grand Total - 150 31/03/2018
