Team Self-Regulation?? • If your team is sensational, what could be the criteria for an analysis of your efforts eg • Degree of initiative / creativity? • Substantive listening? • Level of engagement?
The Overview • You have been chosen to take part in a very exciting challenge. • A major toy company has approached you, and asked you to develop an innovative new toy for the world market. • You also must be prepared to work in a small team when you design this amazing new toy.
Some details for you • This new toy must have the following: • It must be highly technological • It has to be fun to use • It must appeal to people of all ages • It needs to be easy to use • It has to be reasonably cheap

Step 2: To work with your team • We’re going to use a strategy called Discuss: Publish: Shop: Refine • 1. Discuss: In your team, brainstorm lots of ideas • 2. Publish: Agree on a toy, and draw it on one of the large sheets • 3. Shop: Go and look at the other team’s ideas • 4. Refine: Come back and improve yours
