  2. Three Dimensional • The property of the space in which we live and move that indicates motion can take place in three mutually perpendicular directions. This is often expressed with three-dimensional coordinates.

  3. Disk • The union of a circle and its interior.

  4. Golden Mean • The number , or about 1.61803.

  5. Golden Ratio • The number , or about 1.61803.

  6. Golden Rectangle • A rectangle which has its ratio of length to width equal to the Golden Mean.

  7. Golden Spiral • A spiral that can be drawn in a golden rectangle.

  8. Hexagon • A polygon with six sides.

  9. Kite • A quadrilateral with two pairs of adjacent sides that are congruent.

  10. Image of Transformation • The result of a transformation.

  11. Nonagon • A polygon with nine sides.

  12. Octagon • A polygon with eight sides.

  13. Polygon • A closed plane figure for which all sides are line segments.

  14. Rectangle •  Quadrilateral with four congruent angles (all 90°).

  15. Regular Pyramid • A pyramid with a base that is a regular polygon.

  16. Shift • A transformation in which a graph or geometric figure is picked up and moved to another location without any change in size or orientation.

  17. Interior Angle • An angle on the interior of a plane figure.

  18. Transformations • Operations that alter the form of a figure.

  19. Translation • A transformation in which a graph or geometric figure is picked up and moved to another location without any change in size or orientation.

  20. Trapezium • A quadrilateral with no parallel sides.

  21. Trapezoid • A quadrilateral which has one parallel pair of opposite sides and one non-parallel pair of opposite sides.
