  1. Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, (2) "Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, (3) and say, 'Thus says the Lord God to Jerusalem: "Your birth and your nativity are from the land of Canaan; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite. Ezekiel 16:1-3, NKJV

  2. As for your nativity, on the day you were born your navel cord was not cut, nor were you washed in water to cleanse you; you were not rubbed with salt nor wrapped in swaddling cloths. (5) No eye pitied you, to do any of these things for you, to have compassion on you; but you were thrown out into the open field, when you yourself were loathed on the day you were born. Ezekiel 16:4-5, NKJV

  3. And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood, I said to you in your blood, 'Live!' Yes, I said to you in your blood, 'Live!‘ Ezekiel 16:6, NKJV

  4. Cord Not Cut Something that was a source to you in your past has released you, but you have not released it. A marriage, a career, finances, health, other relationships.

  5. Not Cleansed When the baby comes out, it is not covered in its own blood – it is covered in the blood of the mother. In the Old Testament, touching the blood of another made one UNCLEAN! We are unclean in ADAM’S blood. It is called SIN!

  6. Not Rubbed In Salt At the time of birth, the babies were rubbed with salt to make their newborn skin firm. Salt also had to do with wealth. It was an investment. Too many today are walking around THIN SKINNED! They are always easily wounded and offended.

  7. Not Wrapped In Swaddling Clothes Many people use their lack of being nurtured in life as an excuse for not being able to carry on meaningful, lasting, relationships. This fosters a “VICTIM” mindset.

  8. No pity or compassion. Thrown into an open field. Loathed on the day you were born.

  9. When I passed by…. • It is not an “IF” God will pass by your life and situation beloved. • It is a WHEN! God has an appointment for your circumstances to CHANGE! • I am here to announce that TODAY is such a day!

  10. …I saw you….

  11. …struggling…. Literal Hebrew – KICKING. Keep KICKING BELOVED! Don’t give up! You will be brought through this – NOT SOMEHOW, BUT TRIUMPHANTLY!

  12. …in your own blood…. The transition here in this scenario is that it is no longer the blood of someone else. It is now your own blood. The wounds of our experiences have secreted the flow of our own blood. The pain of our experiences have opened us up.

  13. …GOD SAID…. • That’s the miracle. This is what is about to transpire in this room. • The Omnipotent – All-Powerful Potentate Himself is about to address your situation. • The One Who created this world in which we live with His very words and fashioned the universe with His breath is about to SPEAK into your situations!

  14. LIVE! Literal Hebrew: Live, be revived, to restore to life, and to restore to health!

  15. And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood, I said to you in your blood, 'Live!' Yes, I said to you in your blood, 'Live!‘ Ezekiel 16:6, NKJV
