  2. Introduction The Terracotta Warriors were discovered by farmers in 1974. The Terracotta Warriors figures vary in height according in their roles with the tallest being generals. Qin Shi Huang started to build his own tomb in 246 B.C, when he was just 13 years old. This is the Terracotta Warrior’s display of Qin Shi Huang.

  3. Non-Military Terracotta Figures The figures include Warriors, Chariots, and Horses. Other Terracotta non-military figures were also found in other pits and they include Acrobats, Strong men, and Musicians. The third emperor of the Ming dynasty had more 30 beautiful women hanged to be buried with him after he died.

  4. Building The Terracotta Warriors The Terracotta Army figures were manufactured in workshops by the government labored and by local craftsmen around the material used to make more Terracotta Warriors organized. In 1987, moausololeam of the first Qin emperor was listed in world heritage. Qin Shi Huang spends so much time and money to build his tomb.

  5. Types Of Figures Experts estimate that the entire Terracotta Army consists of over 8,000 Soldiers, 130 Chariots. Such was his desire that he even went so far as to have his wife and kids killed and buried along with him.

  6. Qin Shi Huang’s Tomb In addition to the Warriors, an entire man made necropolis for the emperor has also been found around the frits around the emperor’s tomb mound, the tomb mound is located at the foot at Mount Li as a microcosm of his imperial palace or compound.

The Imperial Palace Of Qin Shi Huang The imperial palace contains offices/halls/stables and after structures placed around the tomb mound with surrounded by two solidly built remade earth walls with gateway entrances up to 16 feet of reddish sandy built rammed earth rocks. Soil had accumulated over the site in the two millennia.

  8. Conclusion Paragraph The Terracotta Warriors were one of the biggest things built by the Chinese besides the Great Wall of china. They used thousands and thousands of pieces of stone. It is also a really amazing site to see in person and close up.
