Answer the given questions in complete sentences . 1) How do you memorize your new phone number? 2) What do you do so you won’t forget what Mom asked you to buy? 3) What is your strategy in remembering special dates such as birthdays or anniversary?

  2. Quick Review: *What did we talk about yesterday? *What does AVID stand for? *What is the AVID Weekly Schedule? *What are parts of our Daily Routine? Prepare a ¼ pc. of paper & get ready for a short quiz…

  3. Short Quiz (10 minutes) What does A.V.I.D. stand for? (4pts) How are you graded in AVID? (8pts) What value did we talk about ? (1pt) What is our AVID weekly schedule? (5pts) Answer the question in no less than 5 sentences: (2pts) What is the most important requirement in AVID class & why?

  4. Activity # 1 Get a piece of paper, Fold it into 3 columns. Label the columns A, B & C. For column A, listen to what Ms. Dolino is going to say.

  5. Activity # 2 For columnB, look at the picture on the screen for 2 minutes and try to remember as many things as you can.

  6. Activity # 3 For columnC, look at and listen to Ms. Dolino and remember as many things as you can.

  7. Sharing 1) In which column did you get more correct answers? 2) Why do you think so? 3) How important are listening, looking and doing in remembering?
