CHALLENGES OF PUTTING RESEARCH INTO PRACTICE • Disaffection of youth • Graduates are knowledge containers ratherthanreadyworkers • TAE are not responding to societalneeds • Duplication and confusion of actions • Weakfinancial support for infrastrure and equipment • Inappropriatelearningapproaches • Lack of synergybetween TAE research and extension services • No coordination mechanismbetween networks and developmentpartners Urgent need to transform TAE in Africa as mentioned by CAADP OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Formation of 3C Edu Groups (With FARA support) (3) • In the CAADP processes, TAE is mentioned as a issue, but TAE institutions are rarely included in the business meetings nor are TAE activities financed in the Investment plans. • How do we rectify this and ensure that CAADP country teams engage with TAE institutions more effectively? VISION: Creation of CAADP Country Core Edu Groups (3C Edu Group) to ensure education sector is part of national CAADP processes Research 3CEdu Group Advisory S.
