Registration Process February: Complete your registration for senior classes: Due February 16th in the counseling office REMEMBER-you must graduate on the Recommended Plan to be admitted to a Texas four-year college/university Senior year course selections should maintain rigor and electives should display your areas of interest.

5. When Do I Begin? February: Learn about the types of colleges/universities Public: non-profit institution funded by tuition, donations, grants, state and federal tax dollars Private: non-profit institution funded by tuition, donations, and grant money

6. When Do I Begin? February: Prioritize your college/university preferences Use college search tools to find schools that meet your needs Geographical location Small, medium, large Major/Academic Interest Two year schools versus four year schools In state versus out of state

ACT vs SAT made up of four equal parts: reading, math, English & science & optional writing if you struggle with math, the ACT may be a better option not penalized for incorrect answers made up of three parts: math, reading, and writing if strong in math, this may be a good option penalize � point for each incorrect answer
