Some Work Enables Each Person (SWEEP) • Businesses (and Government) offer simple 1-hour tasks, to temporarily employ someone (on registered list). • Payment will be private vendor's coupons good for basic needs (on approved list) or (half-value) in cash. • There will be no tax withholding, no insurance, and no record keeping to reduce overhead. • The government benefit will be less need for intervention. • Businesses (and government) will buy coupons from vendors. • It should be more attractive to homeless than panhandling, which should solve that problem. • People get on (government) registered list if no warrants, substance abuse issues, etc. Chris Clement 727 784 0186
