  28. II. Long conversation 2 and III. Spot dictation • G1: I love your bag. Where did you get it? • G2: Oh, thank you. I made it. • G1: You did not. • G2: Yes, I did. It’s really easy to do. You purchase the leather. I got it at a bead shop actually. And so, you take the leather, and I usually take a cup or some other round thing to make sort of a template.

  29. And I put the cup down and I trace around it and I do that twice. So I can make two even circles. And you just take normal scissors for the leather, normal scissors work, and you cut out the leather, and you line them up next to each other, and I actually have a special leather needle that is triangle shaped, and so it cuts through the leather better. And, um, some thicker string, and you just string the needle, and you put the um,

  30. you put the two pieces of leather inside out, while you’re sewing them, so that your seams don’t show. And you sew almost all the way around it so there’s an opening at the top, and you have to punch holes in the leather and you string a thicker piece of leather through the holes, and just pull it tight, and that’s how you make it. • G1: That doesn’t sound very hard at all. • G2: It isn’t very hard at all.
