PRODUCTION OF CUSHION. HELENA MIKHAEL. Curvy and straight lines. This is the first thing I have done with the sewing machine. Here I am basically practising to do curvy and straight lines for my cushion. I also practised doing a hem. TIE DYE.

  2. Curvy and straight lines... This is the first thing I have done with the sewing machine. Here I am basically practising to do curvy and straight lines for my cushion. I also practised doing a hem.

  3. TIE DYE.... I used the colour blue for the tie dye. Around the edge I sewed a hem with white string to make it look neater.

  4. Appliqué.... I used yellow material for my aplique. There were many steps in this process and it was a bit confusing but eventually I got it right. I also sewed the hem for this material to make it look neat.

  5. sequins... For my final design I am including sequins so I have been practicing on scrap material to do sequins....

  8. Material... I have cut out the material for my cushion.... My Pink for the front this will have the letter ‘H’ made from silver sequins

  9. The purple for the front.... This will have buttons on it.....

  10. The Flower pink material for the front....

  11. The plain pink material for the back....

  12. Together it will look a little like this....
