As someone who has spent many years studying and writing on the subject, I perceive that, to a few, it's not the most captivating of subjects. Consolidate this "exhausting component" with the progressing atmosphere of criticism, questionable subjects and contentious media consideration in regards to government, and you have a populace which is for the most part withdrawn.
