  8. Liver • secrets bile needed for the digestion of fats

  9. Heart • Pumping organ of the circulatory system • Has 3 chambers

  10. Lung • aid in supplying oxygen to the body and getting rid of carbon dioxide

  11. Stomach • food storage organ • the first major site of chemical digestion

  12. Pancreas • make insulin • makes pancreatic juice which helps with digestion

  13. Large Intestine • Material that cannot be digested passes through here on the way to the rectum and then the cloaca. • Water is absorbed here

  14. Gall Bladder • storage area for bile

  15. Female Reproduction Eggs Oviduct Tubes of a female frog’s reproductive system that carry eggs from the ovaries to the cloaca female sex cells

  16. Male Reproduction Testes Sperm Duct Male sex organs that produce sex cells (sperm). Tubes that carry sperm to the cloaca

  17. Spleen • stores and destroys old blood cells

  18. Kidney • filter the blood and remove the wastes to make urine
