  5. 11:40-12:50 • Math Discovery based Critical thinking Hands on Games Group/ partner work

  6. 12:50-1:30OSS/Enrichment • Extension of academic areas • Basic skills • Speech Class • Physical Therapy • Occupational Therapy • Band

  7. 1:30-2:10Science/Social Studies • Animal and Plant Life Cycles • Energy and Motion • Earth’s land and water • Scientific Process • Communities • Community workers • Geography • Cultures • Barnegat history • Intro to U.S. History

  8. 2:10-2:15 • Pack Up to go home

  9. 2:15-2:55Special • Monday Music • Tuesday Science Enrichment • Wednesday Art (smock) • Thursday Gym (sneakers) • Friday Media Center

  10. HOMEWORK • Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday (with some exceptions). In addition to any written homework, spelling and vocabulary words must be reviewed every night as they will be tested each Thurs/Friday as well as comprehension and language.

  11. Class Rules/Consequences • Class rules are posted on the bulletin board and reviewed periodically. • Should your child make a bad decision, his/her name car is moved up the stop light. If they get to red they receive a recess detention. I have explained to the students that if this occurs it does not mean that I do not like them, but I do need to maintain order in the class so that everyone has a positive learning environment.
