  2. rhodo • Rhododendron – a flowering plant often rose in color • Rhodolite – red or pink variety of garnet ROSE!!!!!!!

  6. trich • Trichina – small hair-like worm that can be a parasite in a human or a hog HAIR!!!!!!!

  15. Practice • Dactyl- means finger. What does zygodactyl mean? Draw a picture and explain what the stem meaning ‘yoke’ has to do with the bird body part. • What is a zymoscope? (scope means look) What does the meaning of zymo and scope have to do with what a zymoscope is?
