  3. The NPA will be outcomes-orientated and will measure its performance against desired outcomes

  4. The NPA will adopt proactive measures to achieve its outcomes

  5. The NPA will advocate social justice

  6. The NPA will put the customer at the centre of its operations

  7. The NPA will strive for excellence by taking actions to meet or exceed customer requirements

  8. The NPA will ensure that it is accessible to all

  9. The NPA will respond with flexibility to anticipated changes in customer demand

  10. In the delivery of freedom and security to the South African community, the NPA will be an active partner in the crime and justice value network

  11. No elements of its design will interfere with the NPA’s duty to conduct criminal proceedings without fear, favour or prejudice

  12. The NPA will ensure dependability of services through standardisation of its operations

  13. In the light of the considerable public trust placed in government, the NPA will practice good governance

  14. To maximise the potential of its human resources and ensure equity, the NPA will practice good human resource and people management
