  1. What is RUSU? RUSU = RMIT University Student Union RMIT’s only 100% student run organisation – run FOR students BY students. Governed by annually elected student representatives who comprise the Student Union Council. RUSU is made up of many student run departments: Activities Dept, Clubs and Societies Dept, International Student Dept, Student Rights Dept, Environment Department, Welfare Department, Education Department, Post-Graduate Department, Queer Collective, Womyn’s Collective, RMITV & Catalyst Magazine.

RUSU Student Services • RUSU info counter on every campus: - City Campus – Bld 8.3 - Bourke St Campus – Bld 108.3 - Bundoora Campus – Bld 204.1 - Carlton Campus – Bld 57.4 (open Wed/Thurs) - Brunswick Campus – Bld 514.2 (open Mon/Tues) • Head to info counter re: student rights advice and bookings, event tickets, general info on RMIT or external services, RUSU merchandise or if you’re lost. • Compass Drop-In Centre – for support and advice when you’re not sure where to turn (Bld 8.3) • Student Rights – Professional staff who can assist with issues such as Special Consideration, Appeal Against Assessment, Plagiarism and other issues. Booking necessary – visit RUSU info counters! • RUSU Realfoods – organic café in City Campus Cafeteria that offers QUALITY food at affordable prices.

RUSU has over 120 student run Clubs and Societies Club Categories: - Spiritual Clubs - Cultural Clubs - Academic Clubs - Social/Special Interest Clubs - Political Clubs To join a club, come to a Big O’Day event OR contact clubs via RUSU website. RUSU runs HUGE events throughout the year. Tickets now available for RUSU’s O’Nite Party (18+ only) from any RUSU info counter or at Big O’Days. Weekly on campus events include Beer/Bands/BBQ and Free Breakfasts Massive Welcome Back party, National Campus DJ and Band Comps, Scavenger Hunt and End of Exam Parties all planned for 2011 There’s more to Uni or Tafe than just study…
