July/August Observation Scheduling • 2009 MUPS anomally: used ~all Cycle 11 cold pitch targets, efficient schedule not possible > June 2010 • Mitigation: • Uncompeted GTO targets: ingested into OBSCAT April • May: MP searched Cycle 12 submitted proposals for candidate July/Aug targets (mostly unconstrained/pool) • > Peer Review: MP generated list of candidate recommended targets for CDO review • CDO released and ingested into OBSCAT definitely-to-be-approved targets and notified PIs • USINT initiated immediate review • CDO released remainder July/Aug targets following release and approval of final target list (16 July 2010) • IPPS review run for all non-July/Aug targets Users' Committee, 25 Oct 2010 Chandra Director’s Office
