  2. Adolf Adi Dassler started to produce his own sports shoes in his mother´s washing kitchen. In 1924, his brother Rudolf Rudi Dassler joined the business which became Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik (Brothers Dassler Shoe Factory) and prospered very soon. In the 1936 Summer Olympics, sprinter Jesse Owens used the Adidas sport shoes. History After that Adidas became the world´s most famous sports brand.

  3. Logo The trademarks are the three stripes and the logo with three leaves (Shamrock), which symbolize the Olympic Spirit.

  4. Cleated shoes Adolf Dassler was the first who made cleated shoes . He made the shoes to the needs of athletes.

  5. Known Models Especially in the 1970s and 1980s there were various shoe models. First there were the linnen shoes „Nizza“ and „Andria“ and the white leather sneakers with blue stripes „Rome“.
