    3. Qu’est ce que la toux ? La toux est un acte reflexe (de défense) constituée de trois phases successives --inspiration profonde --fermeture de la glotte(mise sous tension du thorax) --ouverture brusque de la glotte entrainant « une expiration rapide et sonore »
