  2. Discussion Question 1 • Do you feel that you’re able to acknowledge the Lord “in all your ways?” If so, how difficult is it for you to do so?

  3. Discussion Question 2 • How can one determine whether he is wise in his own eyes, or in the eyes of God?

  4. Discussion Question 3 • What do verses 9 and 10 tell us about the importance of tithing? Based on your own experience, how does tithing bless the giver?

  5. Discussion Question 4 • Verse 11 tells us to “not despise the Lord’s discipline or be weary of his reproof.” Do you think today’s Christian recognizes and/or understands the Lord’s discipline?

  6. Discussion Question 5 • We, as humans, oftentimes feel sorry for those who are destroyed by their own sin. What does verse 25 tell us about such behavior?

  7. Discussion Question 6 • Have you ever withheld “good from those to whom it is due,” or told someone to come back another day even though you have what they desperately need? If so, why?

  8. Discussion Question 7 • What is the relationship between the act of “fearing the Lord” and that of “trusting in the Lord?” Define the word “trust” as it’s used in this chapter.
