  2. *Team Members. • Ms. Nida J.   3. *Progress Update 1 . • DDM’s -almost finished, some items to be verified with doctors. Telephone Conference with Cerner team is done weekly. • Some of us already explored Method M, Open House in WBT, Ulearn & Ucern. • KAUH group is progressing well & KKUH group is a little bit slower. • Learning & Adoption Workshop- Very comprehensive and all of us attended.

  4. Data Gathering (DCWs) 1 . KKUH • Surgical Procedures- filtered &reduced - 6,800+ to 3831+ -already entered in DCW-need to fill up some columns i.e. Classification of Wounds • O.R. Personnel -Collected all names of surgeons from all departments and entered in the DCW. • Surgeons Preference Cards- being updated • Surgeons Clinical Privileges- to be updated • Surgical Supplies - to be filtered.

  5. Data Gathering (DCWs) 1 . KAUH • Surgical Procedures – filtered from 600+ to 500+ encoded in DCW & fill up the columns. • O.R. Personnel- names of surgeons collected for entering • Surgeons Preference Cards-started • Surgical Privileges-started entering in DCW • Surgical Supplies-still waiting for the list from I.T.

  6. *Issues and Concerns . • No participation of physician for our group - but some feedbacks are conveyed to our Chairman. • Lack of time to focus on this project due to our regular work and other commitments. • Staying after regular duty hours just to at least finish some work related to this project and some are being done at home. • Preparation of other data collected will take time due to huge volume of data.

  7. *Issues and Concerns . • Flexibility of the system to allow any changes to be added for customization after we go live. • KAUH- no food at lunch time when they are coming to KKUH • Refreshments / snacks served not enough • Certificates to be given to staff who attended training, workshops & lectures from Cerner or e-SIHI. • Need more motivation of staff for the system project like incentives to be given.
