  5. Books • NEED your textbooks: • The McGraw-Hill Guide, 2nd edition • The UTEP Guide to FYC, 13th edition (e-book) • Not limited to Bookstore with McGraw-Hill Guide THE UTEP Guide features student examples

CafeScribe Indexing Problem • The indexing process is an important process that needs to complete.  This sets up the eBook for word searching.  This process is dependent on the size of the eBook file and the processing power of the computer it has been downloaded on. • Now, if it is taking an extremely long time (e.g., over an hour), it is possible that there may be a process that has become stuck. • Try this: • 1.     Close the MyScribe eBook reader application. • 2.     Open your Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc). • 3.     Click on the ‘Processes’ tab. • 4.     Click on the ‘Image Name’ column header to alphabetize the contents of this column. • 5.     Locate the 2 processes titled ‘MyScribe.exe’, highlight them, then click on the ‘End Process’ button to end these 2 processes. • 6.     Once ended, relaunch the MyScribe eBook reader. • -From: CafeScribe support
