  1. Geometry Chapter One Project By: Thomas DuBre-Schloz Geometry- Second Hour

  2. Points • Collinear Points The Tennis Balls illustrate two collinear Points.

  3. Points • Noncollinear Points These Pool Balls are not all on the same line, so they are noncollinear points

  4. Points • Coplanar Because these Balls are on the same they are coplanar points

  5. Points • Noncoplanar The Yellow dots are on a separate plane than the red one

  6. Points • Formed by the Intersection of two lines The two lines intersect with the two bolts

  7. Lines • Parallel Two tracks are parallel to one another

  8. Lines • Intersecting

  9. Lines • Skew These lines are skew to one another

  10. Lines • Perpendicular

  11. Lines • Formed By the Intersection of two Planes Where the wall and ceiling intersect, are where the two planes intersect

  12. Lines • Rays The yellow line is the ray

  13. Planes • Parallel The Top of the box is parallel to the bottom

  14. Planes • Intersecting All of the planes here are intersecting

  15. Planes • Perpendicular

  16. Planes • Non Planar Surface Where you board and leave an airplane is a non planar surface

  17. Angles • Vertex

  18. Angle • Sides of an angle The Shape of the mattress shows their angle

  19. Angles • Right Angle This plug in forms a right angle

  20. Angles • Opposite Rays

  21. Segments Congruent Segments The edge’s of the page’s in books are congruent segments

  22. Segments • Midpoint of a Segment In this example the North Pole is the midpoint, it is exactly in the middle of the segment

  23. Segments • Perpendicular bisector of a segment An example of a perpendicular bisector

  24. Measurement • 1mm These water socks are a 1 mm thick

  25. Measurement • 1cm The diameter of this triple a battery is once CM

  26. Measurement • 1M

  27. Measurement • 1KM

  28. Measurement • 1 In

  29. Measurement • 1 Ft
